Core work will never give you abs, but that doesn’t mean we don’t need to work on core strength.
Coach, I don’t understand why you have us do core work in class. You already told us it doesn’t give us a six pack no matter how much of it we do. Why are we doing this? So it’s true, I did say that, I say that all the time. You can’t get a six pack no matter how many crunches or sit ups we do. But that doesn’t mean we’re not going to do core movements and work on core strength. We need core strength for things like daily movement, balance, core stability. And if we have a strong core, it protects us and aids us in all of our strength training lifts.
